European Part Over

23 Jan

Hi Guys

Its been a while since we posted how our diet was going… unfortunately the European Hotels werent that internet friendly.

As we have been in Full Board Basis Hotels it has been hard to stick 100% to the gluten-free diet however what we did manage to do was try ALL the tasty Mrs Crimbles Treats so we thought we would write about what we thought about them.

Paula Walker’s Favorite 3 Mrs Crimbles treats were:

Double choc brownies: She said – They were absolutely divine at first I though  would be able to detect something a ‘bit different’ about Mrs Crimbles products but these brownies are so moist and chocolately I had to lock them away!!

Bakewell Slices: She said – These are perfect with a nice cup of hot chocolate you can really taste almond and they are a perfect size to stop the sweet crave we all get!

Chocolate Macaroons: She said – They have a perfect amount of chocolate on them.  The coconut is so delicious all in all a perfect pick me up.

Gillians Favorite are the newly released Cranberry Macaroons

Rebekahs Favorite is the Dutch Apple Cake

Next week we will be Self catering so we will be trying all the mixes we have which include breadcrumbs, pancakes, Crumble, Bread

We will let you know how we get on

Cheers

Bobsleigh Team to try something different!!!

28 Dec

Our British Number 1 Team consists of driver Paula Walker, and brakewomen Rebekah Wilson and Gillian Cooke.

We are a power sport that travels the World competing on the World Cup.  Our bodies have to be in the best shape possible week in week out.  As our sport is a gravitational one, we need to be heavy but lean at the same time.

From my 6 years in the sport I have found that both European & North American food plays havoc with our diet.

That is why we have decided with our great sponsors Mrs Crimbles help, to go on a wheat and gluten free diet…

We will be blogging on how the effects of this diet help our sport and wellbeing!

A big Thank you to Mrs Crimbles for your on going support

Love
